My first hunting trip went pretty well - got my first deer on my first shot our second morning out (it helps when they stand there and look at you 75 yards away). the four of us got 7 deer in 2 1/2 days... not a bad haul.
I had an awesome time, and i'm pretty sure i'm sold on this whole hunting thing. maybe next year i can get a nice buck so i can have a sweet rack to hang on my wall!! (Ashley will love that!!)
Chillin with my deer buddies!!
We packed all the deer in the van to take to a processor in Great Falls - they said they had never seen so many deer in a minivan before :)
Well, not a ton has happened recently, but we're having a baby! Due October 7, and we're super excited. We will find out the sex in a few weeks. Here's our announcement video that we made.
Also, I went to Colorado this past two weeks to help my sister with her new baby and film the birth. Don't worry, no discovery channel stuff was filmed. Here's a pick of little Annabelle Mae Wolfe. Unfortunately Jared had to work and couldn't come with me. :(
Also, while I have been gone, Jared has been working at his new job. He is doing data entry at Vivint. He also tried to go camping, and... well... it took him a little longer to get there than he expected. I'll put up a pic of that too. He had to get a tow truck, but the Lord was thinking of us and I actually got some extra in my paycheck this week. It was more than enough to cover the tow truck cost, so it wasn't a big deal.
Anyway, I'm here for a couple more days then back home. Miss you Jared!! Love you babe!
Christmas was really fun. We spent a few weeks in Idaho Falls with Jared's family and then went up to Montana to see my parents for a few days for New Years. Both were really fun, no pictures this time though. Wish the break was even longer so we didn't have to go back to school and work!!
We got married on May 20, 2011, and it has been a fun adventure so far. Jared is currently working on an undergrad in Neuroscience and studying hard. This summer he is working at Vivint. Ashley is in her last year of her master's program in Math Education and she is doing research for a professor this summer at BYU. Life is fun, but according to the stereotype, we are supposedly "boring" now that we are old married people. We are excited to have our little boy join us in the fall. He is due October 7th :)
